HOW TO FIND US

CHOPWELL WOODLAND PARK LOCATION

Chopwell Woodland Park is about 10 miles south west of Gateshead, between the villages of High Spen and Chopwell.  The only vehicle access into the Wood is from the B6315 at High Spen.

Please note:  At the Forest Classroom parking is restricted.  General Public Parking is not permitted. 

There are picnic areas near the Main Car Park, and a short trail for the less-able.   Please ensure that you secure your vehicle and put valuables out of sight.

Buses from:

Eldon Square, Newcastle upon Tyne
(Journey time is approx. 40 minutes)		 Service 47 & 47A on the hour and half hour. 
on Sundays Service 47 only at 5 and 35 minutes past the hour. 
Metro Centre Service 47 & 47A at 22  & 52 minutes past the hour.
on Sundays Service 47 only at 24 and 54 minutes past the hour.
